If you love the Tekken games of the past , then this Tekken will be no different. One of the greatest pure fighting games of all time -in my opinion and the opinion of MANY others -Tekken 6 PSP brings all the fast fighting that we have come to expect.
With a huge roster of fighters , its tough to get bored when we can try out so many different fighting styles.
Tekken 6 on the PSP has brought some new mechanics for veterans to master while retaining its button-mashing accessibility to newcomers. If you have played Tekken in the past, then you know how fluid the fighting can be. Even anewbie will find it easy to get into a groove while tying it up with someone or the computer.
The PSP version does lack in game modes though. And there is no real online support or game sharing. Which is quite normal in this type of situation.
With 41 fighters, including old stalwarts such as Kazuya, Lei, Paul, Nina, and Jin, as well as recent additions from Dark Resurrection, such as Lili and the emo-Nazi look-a-like Dragunov. Experienced Tekken players will see that the tweaks and changes made to the move sets of returning characters are, for the most part, minor.
There are even new attacks and moves for our older fighters. Most of us liked the altered stances and fighting styles,as it really gave us something to work on while playing for the first few times.I mean, when it comes to fighting P2P, it doesnt matter if everything is the same, but when we have to play the game solo, some new tricks add some new excitement to the mix.
Although there is not a huge number of gaming options, we still get the story mode, ghost mode and standard arcade mode.
And we have 6 new characters too. Overall, though, the Tekken 6 game for PSP is a fantastic game and if I had only one choice of fighter game for my PSP this is hands down the choice I would make without a doubt -and if you have never played any Tekken games, I can absolutely guarantee you that you will LOVE this game.
