DiRT 2 Game Review

DiRT 2 Game Review
Rating:

DiRT is back with better physics and visuals, head-to-head online play, and social features to engage the racing community.
As far as the Game itself – the Head to Head online game play is great. Very little lag, if any. But the career mode is AWESOME. Its quite long -and that actually makes it one of my favorite options. I find it very difficult to stop laying once I get started.
I actually have to make sure that I am done with all my “chores” before I start playing
There are 6 different Levels of game play -and you can select which one you want before any race. With Travis Pastrana and Ken block as your rivals the races are pretty tough. They race you tought from beginning to end. Thankfully the damage is forgiving and the handling allows us to really go at it with the cars.
There is also the replay feature – its actually called the “Flashback” option and it allows us to “rewind” from 10-15 seconds back in time. Its great in case we make a mistake or crash. And because the racing is SO CLOSE all the time, we can really pay for the slightest of mistakes. And using the flashback will become a normal part of the game for most gamers.

Although the DiRT 2 racing game isnt as realistic as other racing games, that really doesnt matter. Its really a fun game that is more about gameplay than the “look” of the cars and the tracks. You can just start it up and start playing right away, Nothin better -and you will become addicted to the online mode too.
I definitely recommend this to any gamer that loves racing – or if you are considering trying out a racing game , this is perfect. You dont have to be a genius with car setup and stuff like that. But even if you are a ” racing pro”, you will love this game for its great skill levels and fast pace game play.
