If you have played the original “Army of 2″ and you enjoyed its awesome 2 player partner style game play- then you are probably gonna love the 40th Day game even better. With more 2 player options and features, the Army of 2 sequel really captures the essence of tag team or partner style war fare.
We’ve seen the game a number of times before, and the sheer variety of tools in your proverbial belt has occasionally proved a challenge when playing a level taken from somewhere in the middle of the game. Recently, though, we were able to sit down with EA and play for a couple of hours starting at the very beginning of the game. No surprises here, but getting the chance to ease ourselves into the experience with a gradually unfolding series of early tutorials helped us appreciate this shooter quite a lot more.
There is also an awesome new strategy -the “Mock Surrender” -this gives you a chance to catch the enemy off guard. There are also some other really great options that take the “Army of 2″ to a whole other level.
Basically, this is one hell of a Military Combat Game – and if you like Military Style Games , you will love the “Army of 2″ Games:
