Playstation 3 YLOD Fix

Fix Your PS3 YLOD

Hey there fellow gamers -if you have a Playstation 3 with the YLOD (Yellow Light of Death) and want to fix it yourself – or if you are just interested in seeing if you CAN fix it yourself, here is a great video (Actually 2 Videos) that show the COMPLETE PROCESS.

The tools you will need are as follows:

Screwdrivers – phillips and torx (#10)
Heat Gun – NO HAIR DRYERS
Thermal Compound
Rubbing Alcohol

Here are the 2 videos. At the end of the first 1 you DO NOT have to click the “Part 2″ button -simply press play on the video below.

In case you have more problems that arent covered with free options, like the Videos.

I ALWAYS recommend that gamers take ALL necessary precautions with there PS3′s and Other Game Consoles. But if you cannot afford to send your game to the manufacturer -or you just dont want to – then I definitely recommend the “PS3 Fixer”.

Its safe and has been used by many PS3 gamers to take care of the YLOD.
